MediaLaws is pleased to share an event entitled “International Alignment and Interoperability of AI Regulations.” This open roundtable is a collaborative effort between the Florence School of Transnational Governance, and the European University Institute (EUI) Department of Law (specifically the Digital Public Sphere Working Group and DigiCluster).
In the context of the development of AI-related regulations in several jurisdictions across the globe, the event aims to explore the implications of the interoperability and alignment of the main regulatory frameworks for mid-rank jurisdictions such as Brazil, the United Kingdom, Canada or Australia that do not have sufficient regulatory clout but have clear intentions to offer some degree of binding regulation on the deployment of AI systems. Issues will be explored from a multidimensional perspective, and will include discussions about geopolitical implications and methodology issues.
This event is open to anyone working on digital/tech governance and/ regulatory theory. More details may be found here.
